Put those punches to work..........

Do you own the Marvy Uchida scallop circle punch? Want to see how to get more punch for your buck? Check this out then:

1st:

Punch your scallop from cardstock

2nd:

Place the cardstock that you just punched your shape from on top of a thinner piece of paper - notebook paper works just fine. Line your punched piece up with the cardstock and use repositionable adhesive to adhere to the thinner paper.

3rd:

Remove your cardstock to leave the punched scallop adhered to the thinner paper

4th:

Line your punch up with the scallop you cut out and adhered to the thinner paper then turn just slightly so that the points on the punch are in the center of each of the scallops on the cardstock.

5th:

Punch and voila!!! You now have a star type punched piece of cardstock!!! These are fabulous to use on cards when you want to make it look like a 1st place ribbon. I'll have to make a card to show you but give it a try!!!

Sorry for the pictures not being the best quality. It is very overcast here today and my desk is a mess so I had to work in a very small space. Goal for this week - clean my scrappy area and reorganize........AGAIN!!!

Happy Scrappin' everyone!!!

Hope you have a safe and happy 4th of July!!!

Just to cover all bases...................

I am not the best scrapper out there. I don't claim to be totally original, I lift from many places and in many forms from color combinations, to product usage, to technique and so forth. I try to be fair to all scrappers out there and mention them when I lift from them - now keep in mind, there are so many people out there scrapping, card making and altering items that naturally more than one person will have similar ideas. When I mention lifting, or casing as some call it, I mean when you intentionally take a design you see and duplicate it exactly or only change up the coloring........KWIM???

With that said..........
