Simple Moments.....................

.......make great memories!!!

What a fabulous quote huh??? I just love it and how true is it??? Some of my fondest memories are from growing up at the lake doing this very thing - swinging my feet from a dock either waiting to jump in or fishing!!!

This week over at The Cuttlebug Spot we were challenged to create something relating to school's out or summertime. Now my recent love affair with Magnolia stamps (it isn't obvious is it?? LOL) brought this darling little girl and dock to me this past week thanks to Michelle at Michelle's Scrapbooking and I couldn't wait to ink her up!!!

I also used this card to complete several challenges:

Just Magnolia - this week which was the summertime theme as well (how lucky was I??)

2 Red Bananas - which was summertime as well (again, how lucky??? LOL)

Friday Sketchers - a fab sketch to be inspired by!

Copic Creations Challenge Blog - I just found this blog and love the challenges given to use your Copic - we know my love for them since I learned to use them in March!!!

My card:

Supplies used:

Magnolia Stamps: Tilda & Dock
Papers: DCWV Summer Stack, Basic Grey Marrakech
Cardstock: DCWV White Core, From Stash
Coloring Medium: Copics
Flowers: Prima
Bard: Paper Studio colored w/Copic YR09 Chinese Orange
Die Cut Butterfly: Nestabilities
Embossing Folders: Frills Border, Bloom Dots, D'vine Swirls

I hope you will join us this week at The Cuttlebug Spot!!!

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrappin'!!!

Oh Karen, I love this card. I just ordered this image and can't wait to get it - it's too cute. You did a great job on this. So glad you found our Copic Creations challenge. Hope you'll join us for the next one, which starts tomorrow. (BTW, I have a BIL in Albuquerque.)

Just to cover all bases...................

I am not the best scrapper out there. I don't claim to be totally original, I lift from many places and in many forms from color combinations, to product usage, to technique and so forth. I try to be fair to all scrappers out there and mention them when I lift from them - now keep in mind, there are so many people out there scrapping, card making and altering items that naturally more than one person will have similar ideas. When I mention lifting, or casing as some call it, I mean when you intentionally take a design you see and duplicate it exactly or only change up the coloring........KWIM???

With that said..........
