Finished this up last night before I went to bed. I was totally lovin' this layout but felt it needed a little more - hence the candy canes. Meh, now I don't like the candy canes on there but it was so late that I just didn't feel like trying to fix it - so, they stay!!!
This is another LO from the Just Scrappin' Summer Crop. Remember it goes through Tuesday so you have plenty of time to join in and get some challenges done!!!
Thanks for looking!!!
Happy Scrappin'..............over and out ya'll!!!

Delirious!!!
Well, it is almost midnight and I'm exhausted!!! I've been having a blast over at JS scrappin' with the girls tonite!!! Cait and I had the music blaring, Coke Zero for the caffeine and forums up to keep chatting. Well, I decided to break out my dancing skills tonite for Cait.
I was practicing my belly dancin' skills to Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" - who knew scrappin' and belly dancin' went together so well???
Here is one of Cait and I being silly in between challenges:
And this last one, well, Cait had the auto timer on her camera going and was trying to get a pic of her singing but she couldn't quit laughing long enough to get a pic of her singing!!! If you look close in the background you see me making faces.....LOL
Well, gotta finish this LO that I'm working on then heading to bed!!! I'll be finishing up my crop challenges tomorrow along with a couple other things that I need to have done by tomorrow night!!!
Happy scrappin' all!!!

Birthday Card
I was asked to make a birthday card for a customer at my work. She was pretty particular in what she wanted and when I showed her the Pink Cat Studio Stamps she was loving Lily!!! She went to the gallery and found a card by Suzanne Dean that she wanted me to replicate as close as possible - OK, it isn't usually my style to completely copy someone's work almost to the T, but I told her I would get it as close as possible.
Here is the card that I lifted by Suzanne Dean - it is a fab card and it doesn't surprise me why she would want it replicated:
And here is the card I made - I added depth by layering the box Lily is popping out of as well as the box Tweet is holding. I also added pearls for earrings, changed the colors just a little and changed up the sentiment area just a little - it is still inspired by Suzanne's but I tried to make it my own:
She also picked out another card by Karen Walls - again, it is not my style to totally copy but I'm working on the card now. This one will be totally different papers and colors but the basic style will be the same - I will post it when I finish it.
Did you notice how pretty Lily looks up there??? Well, it is thanks to my new Copics!!! I've only had fleshy colored Copics til today. When Rob and I went on our trip this weekend we allowed ourselves a certain amount of money each (thank you Uncle Sam) to gamble and well, I did gamble a little but I'd much rather spend my money on scrappy stuff that feeding the machines so I kept out quite a bit and bought me some Copics today!!!! I can not wait to use these more and show them off to you all!!!
So, I have one thing on my list done and quite a few more to finish. I'm half finished with the second card for the same lady and will have another card to make for my darling friend Jenn who is in Texas visiting. We went to school together and have been best of friends since the 4th grade!!! She is pregnant - she's the one I made the acrylic pregnant lady book for!!! Anywho, her birthday is coming up so I need to make her a birthday card and then I also need to finish the Baby boardbook for her. I also need to make a Thank You card for my darling husband's grandma who sent me a special birthday card, get my July 1st card challenge for Just Scrappin' and my crop challenge for this weekend!!!
OK, bad to my card makin'!!!
Over and out ya'll...........happy scrappin'!!!!
OK, updated the post with this card:
I am really NOT thrilled with it but we'll see what she says.
Here is the card I lifted it from:
I like Karen's card better than mine.

Terrific Tuesday!!!
That is what I am calling today!!!
After a tumultuous weekend, it is nice to have a breath of fresh air this morning to help one get over a bitch of a Saturday. Yeah, I usually keep my posts G rated but Saturday was just so ridiculous it deserved that. I won't air the dirty drawers here but lets just say that family drama was at it's best this weekend. I was honored by my BIL really breaking out and telling me how he and supposedly the rest of my in-laws feel about me and then he told my husband they were done - he was done with him. All because my husband defended me in our home when we were totally disrespected. Anywho, won't put all the gory details here but all my friends know how much of a trouble maker I am so it will all be my fault once again.
Anywho, back to my Terrific Tuesday!!! Rob and I got back late last night with my parents from our trip to Kinder, LA for a casino trip. Wow oh wow oh wow what a great trip!!! We paid $35 per person for round trip bus transportation, hotel room and a $23 casino voucher and left Sunday morning and got home Monday night. So all in all the trip cost of $12 per person for transportation and a place to rest our head - mind you this hotel was definitely a really nice hotel!!!
So, anyway, again back to my Terrific Tuesday!!! I jumped on the boards over at Just Scrappin' to find out that I won, yes me, moi, won the June Contest for a summer layout. This was the first layout that I have scrapped since March that I told you about the other day and said I couldn't share it til the contest was over. Well, it is over and I won!!! Woohoo for me!!! What a surprise and shock. The coolest part - it was judged impartially by Leslie from Treasured Scrapbooking and she had no clue who's layout belonged to who. Georgina won for most creative with her 33 Braids layout which was absolutely adorable!!!
So, without further delay, here is my layout!!!!
These pics were taken a couple years ago in Corpus when my nephews came down to visit for the month of June - we had so much fun at the beach with them!!!
Well, I've got lots of real work that needs to get done today. Thought I'd touch base with you all and share my Terrific Tuesday news!!!
Happy Scrappin'

Stamp Organization
OK, I am the most unorganized person there is when it comes to my scrappy space. I can clean it and be so proud of the room and in just 5 minutes into creating it looks like a tornado blew through. The biggest problem I have is stamp storage. I have so many cute cute cute stamps but I don't use them often enough because it is a pain in my rear to dig them out, find the ones I want to use then use them and have to put them up again or they get lost - or more importantly, I forget which ones I have!!!!! Granted, I prefer clear/cling stamps over blocked stamps anymore so this explains the worry about them getting lost.
Well, at my LSS the other day I ran across a package called "EZ Mount Lightweight Stamp Storage Panels" by Sunday International. Now, I already use the EZ Mount backing for my unmounted rubber stamps that I buy - I adore Pink Cat Studio stamps and they come unmounted which is what prompted me to begin using EZ Mount. Since I was struggling so much with stamp storage I decided to give these storage panels by them a try.
So, I am loving it so far!!! Now, I've tried just about every option of stamp storage out there before, CD cases, original packaging, baseball collector pages with the small pockets, laminated sheets and putting them on with tacky glue, the list could probably go on and on.
Here is a pic of how I did two sets of my PCS stamps - keep in mind the page protectors are not necessary but I am kind of anal when it comes to making sure they don't get knocked off and lost so this is better safe than sorry:
I've put these into a giant zip up binder and so far so good. My goal this week is to finish all of my collection of clear/unmounted stamps and put them on the storage panels. Last night I finished up my Pink Cat Studio, Stampendous, Doodlebug Designs and almost Autumn Leaves collections. Tonite I will hopefully get Autumn Leaves completed along with Hero Arts and the few miscellaneous stamps that I own and I'll be good to go!!!
So, if you are desperately looking for a stamp storage option give this a look - it might just be what you are looking for!!!

3rd Times a Charm
Well, 3 posts in one day - I guess I go to one extreme or another with my posting huh?? I either don't post forever or I post it all in one day.
Well, I couldn't "NOT" post this one. I've teamed up with Aymee aka southernbellescrap at Just Scrappin' to host monthly card festivities!!!
Meet Aymee - isn't she just the cutest???
We are going to hold challenges and contests - yes, prizes are involved!!! So, what are you waiting for??? Get over there and scrap!!!
So anywho, Aymee took the first challenge and posted a card sketch by Becky Fleck over at Pagemaps and boy, did she rock this sketch!!!
Here is the sketch:
Here is Aymee's take on the sketch - don't you just love her dress form????
I really love what Aymee did with this sketch.
So, of course me being part of the dynamic card duo I had to get my card made as soon as she posted it. I tell you, this was the fastest I've ever made a card!!! I made the card, snapped a photo, resized it, uploaded it to photobucket and posted it on our forums in 19 minutes!!! Talk about excitement!!! I couldn't wait to tackle her first challenge!!!
So, without further adieu, here is my card:
Stop by Just Scrappin' and get in on the fun - we are a small group right now but we are totally DRAMA FREE and having lots of fun!!! We've become a real family over here and love expanding our family!!!

Just to cover all bases...................
I am not the best scrapper out there. I don't claim to be totally original, I lift from many places and in many forms from color combinations, to product usage, to technique and so forth. I try to be fair to all scrappers out there and mention them when I lift from them - now keep in mind, there are so many people out there scrapping, card making and altering items that naturally more than one person will have similar ideas. When I mention lifting, or casing as some call it, I mean when you intentionally take a design you see and duplicate it exactly or only change up the coloring........KWIM???
With that said..........
