A Card.........

Here is the card I submitted for the DT call at Christmas Cards All Year Round:

I wasn't chosen for the DT but Deanne said it wasn't because my card wasn't good enough, it is because I am already on one of her DT's and she wanted to give others a chance to be on this DT!!! Which, I totally understand and respect!!! She did ask if she could post my card because she loved it - that made me feel good!!!

I'm just glad I can share with everyone now - it has been killing me!!! I am in love with this card and think it is one of the best I've done in a while - I have a whole bunch more to make though for Christmas and I'll be using the same papers - which, are NOT Christmas papers!!!

Just to cover all bases...................

I am not the best scrapper out there. I don't claim to be totally original, I lift from many places and in many forms from color combinations, to product usage, to technique and so forth. I try to be fair to all scrappers out there and mention them when I lift from them - now keep in mind, there are so many people out there scrapping, card making and altering items that naturally more than one person will have similar ideas. When I mention lifting, or casing as some call it, I mean when you intentionally take a design you see and duplicate it exactly or only change up the coloring........KWIM???
