I have nothing new that I can post today - slacker that I am. I did finish my DT card which will be revealed on the 16th so I'll post it here then as well.
Ike bypassed us thank goodness. When Rob and I were watching the weather channel on Friday they were saying we could get some tropical like weather in our area but it skirted by us with a little rain, very little wind but some awesome clouds and no, I didn't have my camera with me when we went to town so I didn't get any pics of them!!!
The kitties are doing well. Daisy hasn't eaten them yet........LOL. They are growing each day and playing so much more!!! With them being so small we thought we'd have a bit before we had to worry about them getting out of our room with a little door block, yeah, NOT!!! They've performed the great escape by climbing the "giant" wall blocking the doorway and have gotten out so Rob made it a little higher - he now has me trapped in the bedroom too!!! Wait, was there a master plan there??? HHHHMMMMM, I'm gonna have to rethink this one, did he trap me on purpose!!!! LOL
I keep saying I'm almost done unpacking and I am ALMOST done but still not quite yet!!! I think I am down to the 1 tote and maybe one box of stuff to get put away in my scrappy area. The rest of the house is pretty much done except for the kids' rooms but hey, that isn't my area so thank goodness they are old enough to unpack and set their rooms up THEIR way!!!!
I did find this awesome new group of ladies - well they aren't new but I am new to their site. I don't typically group hop because it is too much to keep up with but I've ran across all these fabulous ladies lately thanks to the direction of a few friends and have to learn a little bit better time management so I can hang out and create with them all!!!! I'm bad though, I may log in but may not chat some days but I just like keeping up with them and seeing how everyone is doing!!!
OK, must fix some breakfast I'm thinking. Have a great Sunday and hopefully I'll be back in a couple days with something to show you!!!

Just to cover all bases...................
I am not the best scrapper out there. I don't claim to be totally original, I lift from many places and in many forms from color combinations, to product usage, to technique and so forth. I try to be fair to all scrappers out there and mention them when I lift from them - now keep in mind, there are so many people out there scrapping, card making and altering items that naturally more than one person will have similar ideas. When I mention lifting, or casing as some call it, I mean when you intentionally take a design you see and duplicate it exactly or only change up the coloring........KWIM???
