Easel Does It

I truly crack my self up!!!  I'm probably the only one laughing but that's ok, they always said laughter is the best medicine so if you are around me at all you should be good and healthy!!!

So my Easel Does It post is about a new style of easel card I made.  At first it was tricky making sure everything went where it belonged but when it was done, WOWZERS, I love love love it!!!  Hope you will too!!!

So, I made a combo fold card and easel card.  Here the card is closed and has it's "belt" around it.

Here is the card belt.

And the card without it's belt.

Inside of the card, I just love this Sarah Kay image!!!  Also the Magnolia die is awesome - I love putting gems on the circle parts!!!

And here's the final card with the easel up - not sure why I can't get it to upload right, it's in the right format on my computer but blogger doesn't seem to like it.

Sorry for the messy background - I couldn't resist pics as soon as I finished this one!!!

As always, thanks for stoppin' by and happy scrappin'!!!!

Lots of pics.................

..................beware!!!!  LOL

So this album was a long time coming.  I actually spent a day working on it at the retreat I went to in February with TCS and came home to set it aside and not work on it again until last week when I finally finished it.  I adore this book and it matches yesterday's frame which both were gifts to Marissa for baby Adam.  I won't chatter too much about the book because this post is going to be long as is.  I used Simple Stories Baby Step papers, misc ribbon, album from Maya Road, lots of embellies from MR, seam binding, googlie eyes, glossy accents, stickles, metal embellies from Tim Holtz, bakers twine, stick pins, canvas pieces, glitter, gems, stamps, TH Distress Crackle Pain Rock Candy, seam binding, and so much more!!!!

Hope you enjoy!!!

As always, thanks for stoppin by and happy scrappin!!!

Just to cover all bases...................

I am not the best scrapper out there. I don't claim to be totally original, I lift from many places and in many forms from color combinations, to product usage, to technique and so forth. I try to be fair to all scrappers out there and mention them when I lift from them - now keep in mind, there are so many people out there scrapping, card making and altering items that naturally more than one person will have similar ideas. When I mention lifting, or casing as some call it, I mean when you intentionally take a design you see and duplicate it exactly or only change up the coloring........KWIM???

With that said..........
